"The Envelope: A Novel Inspired by the True Events of the Arizona Buddist Temple Massacre" by Jules Madrid

Have you ever woken from a deep sleep, immersed in the dream that defied everything you knew to be true in this world? Did you visit a lost, or deceased loved one? Were you able to play catch-up, and expose the person you have become in an attempt to get broken moments in time that never were with your beloved? "The Envelope" is a masterfully written story with blissful dreams of what might have been between a girl, and the true love of her life. Be careful though, this story is not for the faint of heart. There are times when you will need a box of tissue's ready! I cried my eyes out with this insatiable read. It was hard to put it down.

Tragically, Jules (our main character) is struck with the news that her best friend Mattie had been killed in the 1991 Arizona Buddhist Temple Massacre. Something no one foresaw to happen, and took the lives of irreplaceable friendships, and family.

Jules grew up, got married to a wonderful loving husband, had children, and lived life that was great. There's just one thing that might seem out of place to the trained eye. Jules is in love with a ghost. Or, at least what seems like a ghost. It's Jules dreams that sensually haunt her, and blur the lines of reality. Mattie, her life long friend visit's her sporadically, taking her out for a "night life" of bliss and remembrances. Jules is blindsided by the fact that he visits more often, and is addicted to the life of dreams, where she can be with anyone. People Jules lost in her life always made an appearance in her dreams, guiding her on life lessons, and repetitive dates. A mysterious letter, given to Jules by Mattie, allows her to communicate between her day life and night life. Will she forever stay in her world of dreams? Will she find the meaning of it all?

This captivating story tells a gripping journey of anguish, transcending love, and unforgiving loss, and will rock your very core. I am deeply touched by this story, and would love for you to share this woman's inspired plight for answers and closure. Give this alluring novel a shot, I promise you will not be sorry.
