"Things we lost in the night book 1 NIGHT PEOPLE" by Larry J. Dunlap BOOK REVIEW

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this fast-paced Memoir of a musician, and his life on the road. This genre is hard to achieve, and I was impressed with his nature of writing. I do not normally read books from this genre. Now, I am happy to say that I will be giving it a chance from now on! You have restored my faith in the reading quality of biographies.

Dunlap perfectly paints a vivid picture of life in a 1960's Rock band. Girls, family, drugs, gigs, and road trips all bound into one satisfying ending to the book. This biography sheds light into the life of a starving artist, and shows us that it takes more than talent to survive, it takes tenacity.

Dunlap takes us on a roller coaster ride of life lessons, poor choices, and sacrifices, all pertinent ingredients of making a thrilling read! I definitely recommend this book as a  must have read, because it's not just a memoir or biography, it actually reads like a work of fiction. I was pulled into the life of a 60's rock star, and found myself desperately waiting for book 2.  Mr. Dunlap has easily become one of my favorite writers, and I look forward to reading more of his work.

Book Review of "Splinters" by: Susan Bird

Where do I start? First off, this book has it all. You will find everything from, love, deception, erotic moments, to deep plot twists. I fell in love with the story quickly.  I found myself caught up in the whirlwind life of Sunday O'Neil, a smart business professional who owns her own employment agency. She deals with many obstacles, and takes on new relationships, crossing a threshold from failed passed relationships.
I have to say that I thought the incorporation of music into the story, was clever, and melded perfectly with each chapter. I couldn't wait to see what new song the Author, Susan Bird, would use next. It definitely was a page turner, and I would recommend it for anyone looking for a practical, and captivating Business based/Romance novel.  I can't wait to see what's next from this author, as I found her skillful style of writing "just how she feels," and " interesting outside the box" labeling, quite refreshing! My hat goes off to you Miss Bird, you're amazing!

Book Review of "Murder Most Convenient: A Mrs. Xavier Slayton Mystery" by: Robert Colton

I have to say that I rather enjoyed this mystery novel, and completely fell in love with the author's writing style. It's one of the first Mystery Novels I've read in my adult life, and thought it was a thrilling piece! I love mystery, and found it to be an easy, yet elegant read. I loved the flow of the book as well, because I didn't feel too rushed into the story-line.  I enjoyed the deep character development as well. I felt like I was in tune with what was actually going on in the book. Great plot twist as well.

I f you like to read Sherlock Holmes, or even Agatha Christie, you'd love this. I recommend it to any age, and all walks of life. A bit of mystery is always fun! Can't wait to see what comes next from this Author.

Author Side note: I just wanted to say Kudos on your writing skills, very captivating and really brings the reader a better vision of the story!
