The Outlaw River Wilde book review

I was very intrigued by the writing style of this book, and easily felt at home with the plot of the story. Not only does the writer have a very comfortable writing style, he also keeps the reader guessing what will happen next. The chapters were short, simple and sweet; just the way I like them. I'm a huge fan of the ancient aliens idea and thought this was an interesting take on it. The pace of the book takes off at the very beginning, allowing the reader to jump right into the story line of the book.

About the book:
Mitch Wilde a middle aged, well established photographer, encounters other worldly sightings of vanishing Native Americans and has a few near misses of alien arrows thrown at him. He befriends an unlikely neighbor Jasper, whom most people in the neighborhood assume is batty. The friendship takes Mitch's idea of aliens and broadens his understanding immensely. A series of phenomena occur in the town of Outlaw River and Mitch seems to be apart of it. Mitch deals with an old foe from High School who became the town Sheriff  and who tends to abuse the power. All the while, Mitch must try and save his wife as well as the townsfolk from the strange occurrences that time, and time again pop up.

If you are looking for an unorthodox read, that you can easily jump into, "The Outlaw River Wilde" is your best bet. I'd highly recommend it as the main character is a strong male lead and easy to follow. I think I like him so much because he reminds me of my husband. He has the same taste in beer, actually. I'd like to extend  a huge thank you to Mike Walters for sending me this book, I'm definitely going to be doing some recommending of this novel.
