"Rogue Agent" by Kellie Wallace

Kellie Wallace, charismatic author of "Rogue Agent," has painted an interesting story with even, yet detailed brush strokes. We find that the story takes place in the year 2040. The main character, Seth Langston, opens up the beginning of the book, ready to assassinate a man he was ordered to murder. Right off of the bat, we see that he struggles with the dilemma of what he is doing. Is it right? Or, is it wrong? And, eventually, lets his typical drone Agent side pull the trigger. As a reader, you are immersed into a dystopian world where hit men have quota's, those quota's yielded fair amounts of money, and they must be met in a timely manner. Oh yeah, don't forget to save the finger of your assigned target.

As things progress, and the plot has thickened, Seth is offered a bit more job security. Placing him among a completely different environment where he begins to prosper. The more he immerses himself into the job, the more it becomes toxic. Seth begins to allow his human nature to question his new conscience, and decisions. The book is full of unexpected plot twists, and well developed characters. I was impressed with the sturdiness of her story. It was easy to get lost in her words. I could definitely see this book, with such a great cover, in every store sitting with the greats!

Ms. Wallace does a fantastic job of captivating the reader into mistaking reality with her illustrations in the story, and her wittiness with a pen. I highly recommend this stellar read for all Sci-Fi, Dystopian, Suspense, Thriller, or Mystery seekers. There is absolutely never a dull moment, and I was hooked from the very first page. Thank you for allowing me to read such a bold read!
